We are please to have you aboard. First thing you most likely want to do is to sign up by filling in a nickname, password and an email address. Selecting the button "Click to Sign Up" will bring up a log in window, by retyping your nickname and password in their respective fields and clicking "OK"
You will be then taken to the members page which has the current news to let you know what we are up to. You should now select the settings tab/link on the right sidebar. This will bring you to the page where you can change settings such as style, location, email address and so on. You should change your style to something more pleasing to you rather than keeping our starting style since as you can see it isn't very good (of course that's just to give you an incentive to change it :).
Making your Style is easy especially if you know anything about HTML or CSS. Everything is customizable, check out some of the other users pages to see what kind of effects can be achieved.

In the future you will be able to select a style from a list of pre-generated styles, either ones made by the LiveLog staff or by fellow LiveLog users. Although all of us here at LiveLog agree the fun is making it yourself, but we also know not everyone knows HTML or CSS so we will do all we can to either give you help and in general make things as easy as possible.
Making an entry is actually quite simple, by selecting "New Entry" again on the right bar. Within "New Entry" you can type subject, entry, company and music in each of their fields respectfully. Mood and Weather have drop down menus that you can select from. In the future Moods and Weather will be updated so you can choose from a wide variety of icon sets but as of now we just have one.
Upon submission your entry is automatically posted to the Log.
The "Friends" fiend on the side bar allows you to maintain a list of friends, other people whose logs you read or people that you know. The friends page has all entries entered by the friends in your friends list sorted by the date submitted.
